In last week’s blog post, I wrote about “living in the flow,” including how fun, effortless and miracle-filled it can be.

But what about those times when we feel so very, far away from any kind of flow whatsoever? When no matter what we do, we simply feel stuck in a specific situation.

As time passes, our frustration mounts, despair sneaks in and we may conclude change is impossible or our situation, hopeless.

Yet these so-called “negative” experiences are how the Universe reveals our blocks to receiving greater abundance–including those that stop the flow.

Oftentimes, the only way we discover these blocks is to have them “mirrored” back to us via those specific life challenges that linger on far longer than desired.

The bigger purpose of these “mirror experiences” is to nudge us into an expanded, more symbolic view of our life challenges…so that we can ultimately transform them and step back into the flow.

To do so, however, we must first identify our “mirror message”. This is the limiting thought or belief which created the experience in the first place.

For example…

The chronic back pain that never goes away–and which mirrors how we feel unsupported emotionally or financially with moving forward into the life we want to live.

Or, the job (or jobs) where we never feel appreciated and fulfilled. In this instance, the mirror message reflects our belief that only external sources of love or approval matter. As such, we continue to discount or hide our unique gifts, abilities or creativity. With our sense of worth based on what we do rather than who we really are or who we want to be, we remain unappreciated and unfulfilled in each subsequent job.

Yet the gift we receive when we finally get our mirror message is that we transform our challenges. Our “mirrors” become “windows” and we see ourselves and our life more clearly.

Struggle fades away.

We step back into the flow.

And we recognize that the Universe IS—and always was—on our side. That It wants us to live a peaceful, happy, healthy and prosperous life.

Moreover, It will do everything to bring more abundance and miracle-filled experiences into our lives, including helping us clear the blocks to receiving them.
